Mary Evelyn Caudle, elected as Mayor of the Town of Triana in 2008, and is presiding over some of the most dramatic transformations in the town's history. New construction of homes and the rehabilitation of historic structures are transforming the look of the Town. She is focused on the safety, quality of life, and growth of the community. This has been shown through her commitment to pursue several grants which will be extremely beneficial to the Town. These grants will allow new building to be built, neighborhoods to be revitalized and parks to be transformed. The first massive infrastructure improvements in the town's modern history will be made. While she works hard to accomplish these things she makes every effort to preserve the identity and history of the town. Prior to becoming Mayor, Mary served on the Triana Town Council for 4 years.
She is the founder of Assist Practice Management Services, LLC, which she began in 1996 after 16 years of service in the medical field. Assist provides consulting, revenue management, accounts receivable management, billing and collection assistance services to health clinics, hospitals, private physician offices, and Federal Qualified Health Care Centers across the United States. Her current certifications as a Medical Insurance Specialist and Procedure Coder. She also works full time as the Corporate Business Office Director of Patient Accounts for Sequel Youth and Family Services, Inc., which serves those with behavioral, emotional and physical challenges. She is a member of Healthcare Management Association, American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management, and the Medical Group Management Association.
As a devoted community leader and supporter, Ms. Caudle serves on multiple boards and is an active member of civic and community organizations. Her distinct roles have included President and Vice President of the North Alabama Mayor's Association, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of Executive Board for Top of Alabama Regional Council of Government, President (3 years) of Board of Director and Finance Committee for Community Action Partnership Huntsville/Madison and Limestone Counties, Inc., Secretary of Metropolitan Planning Organization for Huntsville/Madison Counties, and a member of the Madison County Hazard Mitigation Planning Committee. She allows time to enhance her leadership skills along the way by participating in the Leadership Team for Speak up Alabama, Leadership Focus Class 29 and Leadership Alabama Class 2016-2017.
Mary is one of ten children. She spent all of her childhood living and raising her own family in the Town of Triana. Her witness to the changes that have occurred are her driving force for continuing to reside in the town and be a part of its dramatic future. Mary is the proud mother of three children; LaToya, Ian, and Brandon and grandmother of four; Briana, Jalen, Jada and Brandon J.
